About this Event
Join us for a virtual lecture with Madison Lawson, a journalist known as Wheelchair Barbie. Lawson recognizes the impact media has in shaping the world’s viewpoint of marginalized communities. Lawson hopes to reach young disabled girls who much like herself, want to see bold and confident disabled women in fashion or anywhere they want to work.
You may also view the presentation in person in the Student Center, Multipurpose Room on the Florissant Valley Campus. Viewing rooms at other campus locations are Forest Park, SC-118, Meramec, LH-102, and Wildwood, Commons.
