Missouri, and especially St. Louis, was a hotbed of women’s suffrage activity in the 19th and 20th Centuries. Learn more about the movement that energized the Civil War and fueled the 19th amendment, which granted women the ballot nationwide in 1920. Discover what happened once Missouri women got the vote as we celebrate the centennial of its ratification.
