On Wed., November 2, the STLCC- Meramec Student Advocacy & Resource Center is raising awareness for food insecurity within our campus community. 2020 studies have shown that 38% of students at two-year colleges experience food insecurity and 52% experience some form of housing insecurity.

The STLCC-Meramec Clay Club has donated 100 beautiful, hand-crafted bowls that are available for purchase for $20.00 (Student Rate $10.00). 100% of the proceeds will benefit the STLCC-Meramec Student Emergency fund. These funds are vital to providing essential support resources for our students to cover unexpected and emergency costs like medical bills, utility bills, and transportation costs.

Donors who have purchased a bowl will also be treated to a free catered lunch on Wed., November 2 in the STLCC-Meramec Student Center Room 200/201, between 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM.

All bowls purchased will be available for in-person pickup at this time. Specific bowls will be chosen at the time of the event and will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Your donations are paramount in ensuring students have access to the resources and support they need.
