It’s been an exciting start to spring semester, but we’re even more excited to tell you that the College’s commencement ceremony will be held in person in 2022!

Am I eligible to walk?

Students who graduated in summer 2021 and fall 2021 are eligible to walk at the commencement ceremony scheduled for May 21, 2022. In addition, all eligible spring 2022 graduation candidates, and students who are graduating this summer who have less than 6 credit hours to complete in their summer session are invited to participate in our ceremony.

COVID-19 Safety Measures

Saint Louis University has a COVID-19 safe arena policy that STLCC students, faculty, staff and others will follow as guests of the university.

  • Attendees of all upcoming events at Chaifetz Arena must provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (at least two weeks out from final dose) or proof of a negative COVID-19 test result received within 72 hours of the respective event.
  • Masks are required indoors at Chaifetz Arena. All attendees over the age of 2 must continue wearing face masks indoors.

Upon entering Chaifetz Arena, guests must provide one of the following:

  • An official government-issued vaccination card with your name and the date the last dose was administered along with a matching photo ID.
  • A printed or digital negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test administered by a healthcare professional or pharmacy within 72 hours of the event that includes your name and date of the test and a matching photo ID. Self-administered tests will not be accepted.
  • Children under the age of 12 are exempt from the policy but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who meets the vaccination or negative test requirement.
  • Chaifetz Arena has a clear bag policy and is a cashless venue.

Please understand that STLCC will follow state and local guidelines related to COVID-19. Any changes to the 2022 commencement event will be informed by the best available data and what is best for the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff and community.

If there is a format change for the 2022 commencement event, students, faculty and staff will be notified via email and a notice will be placed on the STLCC commencement webpage with as much notice as possible.
