For more than 30 years, Mark Weber has helped create an environment at St. Louis Community College that embraces and appreciates the arts. In an effort to honor his legacy and support aspiring artists at the Wildwood campus, the St. Louis Community College Foundation established the Mark Weber Scholarship Fund in 2019.
On Thursday, April 2, 2020, 13 artists will host a reception and art auction to raise additional funds for this scholarship.
Save the date and make plans to attend "An Evening with Mark Weber and Friends: Reception and Art Auction Benefitting Student Scholarships at STLCC-Wildwood."
This event features the work of Mark Weber, Dion Dion, Lorna Finch, Ann Frailey, Vicki Hefty, Nancy Lipari, Austin Lopez, Joan Mette, Mary Helen Osborne, Leslie Randle, Dana Smith, Michelle Streiff and June Walsh.
About the Exhibition:
Mark Weber, together with 12 artists, will bring you into the world of creative innovation by sharing their inspiration and motivation for making art. The evening includes an art auction where you’ll have the opportunity to bid on your favorite works of art. All proceeds benefit the Mark Weber Scholarship Fund, which supports aspiring artists at the Wildwood campus. Along with beautiful art, you’ll enjoy savory pasta and sweet bites prepared by students in STLCC’s Culinary Arts program.
