Key figures discussed: Harriet Tubman (Abolitionist and Suffragist); Sojourner Truth (Abolitionist and Suffragist); Ida B. Wells-Barnett (Suffragist and Voter Educator); Mary McLeod Bethune (New Dealer and Voter Educator); Shirley Chisholm and Barbara Jordan (Congresswomen); Stacey Abrams (Georgia Politician and Voter Registration Educator). Light refreshments provided.
The League of Women Voters will be on-site for voter registration before and after this event.
